Welcome to zanobiaangus.com! Our herd was started in 1928, with continuous registered and commercial purebred production to the present. The primary focus of the breeding program at Zanobia is growth, grade, and maternal genetics.
It started with a simple goal of achieving four pounds of gain per day in the feedlot and, once that benchmark was reached, evolved into an ever-present mission of producing the ultimate Angus female. We continue to fine-tune that female, which can produce a calf capable of maximum gain, optimum grade, finishing at 12-14 months of age. Her mothering ability must also be beyond question, with a quiet disposition, sound confirmation, and longevity. That is the Zanobia Angus female.
